A Passion and Obsession

At MoonSilver SoapWorks, soap making is our passion and we have been creating and crafting soap since 2000. We love the feel and the texture; the amazing variety of colors and scents; and the wonderful way it makes our skin feel.

Our Handcrafted Cold Process Soap, is made in small batches from our own tried and true recipes. Only the highest quality ingredients are used; from vegetable oils, butters, botanicals, and additives (like sea salt, coconut milk, goat's milk, French clay and sustainable, cruelty free, Tussah silk), to essential oils, cosmetic grade fragrance oils, and  FD&C approved colorants and micas. 

We have two great lines to fufill your soap needs

Our Naked soaps are made with our vegan friends in mind.  We use beautiful, skin loving oils like olive, avacado, sweet almond, shea and cocoa butter.  Additives such as oatmeal, lavender, rose petals, calendula (some of which come from our own garden), salt and clays.  All natural vegetable dyes and micas are used to color the soap, while the gorgeous fragrances come solely from essential oils.

Our Scentsational soaps are made with the same skin nourishing oils as our naked line, and the same great botanicals, but then we kick it up a notch.  We add a generous helping of sustainable Tussah silk (the silk worms are allowed to hatch before their cocoons are harvested for its silk, as opposed to the cocoon being harvested while the silk worm is still in it), Punch up the color with FD&C approved colorants, and add gorgeous scent combinations with our Phthalate-Free cosmetic fragrance oils.

Since we like to get creative at MSSW we also have seasonal scents to enjoy. Each season will have a limited edition selection of soap to choose from.  In the Spring think light floras, herbs, sweet grasses, and airy scents; Summer heralds in citrus, beachy scents, a bonanza of berries, and cool teas; Fall, crisp apples, pumpkins, spice, wood smoke and a touch of earthyness; While Winter is full of home baked goods, spruce and pine, frankincense, myrrh, and crisp clean mints.
